Getting here

Only 20 minutes from central London

It's easy to get to Greenwich using Docklands Light Railway, river boat, train or bus. The Jubilee line also runs to North Greenwich, for The O2. The Docklands Light Railway goes to Greenwich, Cutty Sark and Woolwich from Bank station via Canary Wharf , also on the Jubilee line, and there are plenty of buses and trains.

See Greenwich with a knowledgeable tour guide and hear all about the areas royal heritage and maritime history. Guided Walks with Greenwich Tour Guides start every morning and afternoon from Greenwich Tourist Information Centre. Greenwich Royal Tours start every morning and afternoon from just outside Discover Greenwich and need to be booked in advance.

West End theatres and attractions

You can buy tickets for West End theatres and London visitor attractions at Greenwich Tourist Information Centre. You can also get Oyster and river boat tickets . So, if you're planning a night out at the theatre or a trip along the river to the London Eye, Madame Tussauds, the Tower of London, among others, drop in and see us!

Greenwich Tourist Information Centre is in the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre at the Old Royal Naval College. The same building houses a permanent exhibition on the history of Maritime Greenwich.

Travel Tickets
We sell tickets and Oystercards for travel on tubes, buses, trains, the Docklands Light Railway and Thames Clipper & City Cruises boat services. We also sell coach tickets for National Express and Eurolines.


London tickets
We also sell tickets to some of London's major visitor attractions including Madame Tussauds, the Tower of London, the London Eye and London bus tours.


West End Theatre
You can book tickets for West End theatres at the Tourist Information Centre, often at discounted prices.


Guided Walks
Guided walks around Greenwich leave the Tourist Information Centre every day at 12.15pm and 2.15pm. Led by a member of Greenwich Tour Guides Association, this tour will give you a fascinating insight into the area's royal and maritime history.


Maps and Guides
We stock a range of maps and guides including cycling and walking maps, some of which are free.


Accommodation
