Royal Parks learningRoyal Parks
In Greenwich Park, hidden in the flower garden, is the Wildlife centre. Recently the Royal Parks Education team have developed the centre to include a nature trail, deer hide and pond dipping area. In 2011 the park is opening these doors to teachers to explore how the facilities can be best used.

This is a small, but very focussed, resource which can engage young people in understanding science based activities and develop their relationship with nature.

The Friends of Greenwich Park also have an active role in opening the wildlife centre on a drop in basis for anyone who wishes to explore nature and volunteers deliver activities and open day sessions for all ages throughout the year.
